Ucman Vineyard Cottage

This more-than-a-century-old vineyard cottage hides its age well—only the traditional wine cellar reveals its true history. It’s in this cellar that the owner lovingly tends to wine using age-old methods. Guests are warmly invited to visit the cellar and taste the house wines, and upon arrival, they’re welcomed with a bottle of wine of their choice and a traditional flatbread.

The cottage features one bedroom with a double bed and an additional pull-out bed, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Outside, there’s a space for barbecuing and a seating area, perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Set in the heart of a hectare-sized vineyard, the cottage offers breathtaking views of the Gorjanci Hills, the edge of the Kočevje forest, and the hilltop church of Trška Gora.

With a focus on making guests feel right at home, the owners happily invite them to take part in vineyard or cellar work. E-bike rentals are also available.
