About the Trška Gora Entry Point project

The website Visit Trška Gora was established as part of the Trška Gora Entry Point project, funded by the European Union through the Recovery and Resilience Facility.

Project Purpose

The purpose of the Trška Gora Entry Point project is to establish a central physical and digital arrival point for tourists, as the Trška Gora area has not had a unified entry point so far that would provide visitors with an organized starting point for their visit. The project also aims to offer a simple overview of the diverse range of tourist products in Trška Gora and to create a clear central information center, both physically and digitally, which directs visitors to various activities according to their interests.

Project Achievements

Within the scope of the project, we have arranged an entry point with parking for tourist buses and passenger vehicles, essential for the safe and functional turning of larger tourist buses and other vehicles. We installed a bicycle shelter with a roof, a service corner, and an electric charging point. We purchased ten electric bikes and installed storage boxes for them.

Next to the parking area, we created a park and built a 450-meter-long walking path leading from the entry point towards the Trška Gora area. We renovated the information boards and signage for the Slak Trail and marked and installed new information boards for the newly established the Three Castles Trail. We developed new tourist products for various target audiences, including a 5-star experience.

To improve visitor information about Trška Gora, we installed an interactive information screen at the entry point and launched the website Visit Trška Gora, which consolidates information about all tourist offerings in the area. We also designed a promotional brochure to clearly showcase activities and tourist products in Trška Gora.
