Škatlar 3 Vineyard Cottage

This 1848 vineyard cottage is a fine example of a wealthier farmer’s home. It was fully restored in recent years, with the living area redesigned in a modern style using local materials such as spruce, beech, and oak. Guests sleep above the old wine cellar, which holds over ten wine barrels filled with various wines.

The cottage accommodates four people and features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a living room with a pull-out sofa for two, and a bedroom with a double bed. An infrared sauna and a hot tub are available for guests, and bike rental and massages are also possible. In the traditional wine cellar, guests can help themselves to ten different wines, including tolerant (organic) varieties, and the hosts also offer a homemade cold platter.

On the first evening, guests are invited to a cellar tour, a multimedia presentation about wine, and a guided tasting with local delicacies. During the grape harvest, they can even join in the winemaking process.
