Škatlar 1 Vineyard Cottage
This charming vineyard cottage from 1835 is part of the European Houses with Tradition network. It accommodates up to four guests – one bedroom with a double bed and another double bed in the attic under a traditional thatched roof. The cottage also features a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a living room, and a bathroom.
Guests can enjoy a hot tub and sauna all year round, as well as optional bike rentals and massages. Just a few steps away, a traditional wine cellar offers ten different wines, including tolerant (organic) varieties, and the hosts provide a homemade cold platter. On the first evening, guests are invited for a cellar tour, a wine-themed multimedia presentation, and a guided wine tasting with local snacks. During the harvest season, they can even take part in the grape harvest.
This authentic nearly 200-year-old thatched cottage features a stone cellar converted into a wellness area, and a wooden apartment above with a unique sleeping space beneath the straw roof.
